The department covers a wide variety of work on behalf of Landlords in respect of all types of property, both commercial and residential, with particular emphasis on the following:- |

(a) The Leases of commercial and residential property and transactional business associated with such Leases such as Licences to Alter, sell and underlet. |

(b) The resolution, by action through the Courts or otherwise, in respect of disputes between Landlords and Tenants arising from repairing issues, arrears of rent, service charges and associated matters. |

(c) Acting for Residential Landlords in proceedings before the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal in connection with Lease Extensions, Freehold Enfranchisement, service charge issues and management issues. |

(d) Advising Residential Landlords generally with regard to issues arising from Leases, such as breach of covenant, nuisance, disputes between Tenants and major works contracts. |
